After understanding the science behind healthy food, Dr. Vidya has set up SAKAS FOODS, a manufacturing unit which manufactures healthy snacks under registered brand ‘Just Eat’.

‘Sakas’ in Marathi language means ‘Nutritious’. Sakas Foods has consciously replaced unhealthy or harmful ingredients with healthy ingredients. Maida(Wheat Flour ) is replaced with Whole Wheat Flour /Millets like Jowar, Bajra, Ragi which are rich in calories, fiber & minerals. White Sugar is replaced with chemical free Jaggery since it is considered good due to its Mineral & Fiber Content. Oil is replaced by Pure Cow Ghee, made in a dairy & is good fat as per modern medicine. Cow Ghee is recommended in Ayurveda too. Apart from that Peanut, Sesame, Dry Fruits are some other ingredients deserve Special Mention!

Sakas Foods has given modern twist to traditional ingredients & converted them into Just Eat Products which are Preservative Free and due to its Natural ingredients, ensure good Calories, Protein, Good fat , Dietary fiber & Minerals like Iron & Calcium. These Snacks are Trans fat Free Snacks as these are all Oil Free Snacks /Oven Baked Snacks !
